Happy Fall

This is my favorite time of year!  I love the crisp air, the colors…so much to love about this season!  Today’s lunch includes:  leaf shaped noodles mixed with a little butter and freshly grated parmesan cheese, Brawny brownie (recipe from the Sneaky Chef and it’s loaded with spinach, blueberries, wheat germ, etc…), kiwi, leaf shaped turkey and cheese sandwich.

I love all these ideas for the kids lunchboxes, they do rox.You have given me so many ideas on packing school lunches for my granddaughter. It will be nice for her to open her lunch box and see fun healthy food instead of just another old sandwich,so many ways to use the rollup, the bread being cut out from cookie cutters,so many different shapes.and the fruit on the stick, what child doesn’t like eatting fruit off a stick. And there alot of adults who enjoy eatting fruit off a stick. Then next time i take a lunch to work,i’m using one of these wonderful sandwiches.
My granddaught also like to bring a thing we call cheese boats; you take a large leaf of lettuce and stuff it with shredded cheese, matchstick slices of ham or salami and a few carrot, radishes, celery roll everything together and its so good.
I love the lunchboxes that are pictured here, where can you purchas these?

Thank you so much, Cheryl! I love your cheese boat suggestion. The lunch box pictured in this post is from Pottery Barn Kids. Thanks again!
